Davis named NAC Rookie of the Week

The North Atlantic Conference office announced early Monday, Nov. 18 that first year men’s basketball player Floyd Davis has been named NAC Rookie of the Week.
 
Davis averaged 6.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 1.5 assists per game this week. After pulling down 10 rebounds and adding three points, three steals, two assists and a block in a mid-week loss to Plymouth State, Davis scored ten points and added eight boards, three steals, and an assist in a win over Curry on Friday.
Men’s basketball is back in action Friday, November 22 at 1:00pm against Castleton University.
 
Savage named NAC Rookie of the Week
 
The North Atlantic Conference office has announced that Jaymes Savage has been named the NAC men’s basketball Rookie of the Week.
Savage was named to the NVU Tip-Off Classic All-Tournament Team for his performance in the opening games of the season for NVU-Johnson. First, he scored 12 points and provided six rebounds in a loss to MCLA. The following day, Savage pushed the pace in transition and scored a team-high 17 points on 70 percent shooting from the field and added four rebounds in the 95-87 win over Vermont Technical College.
