Paris Atuahene has achieved a NAC First Team all-conference selection, and is the NAC Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Year. A four-time selection as NAC Rookie of the Week, Atuahene led the league with 21 points per game over 22 games. In 12 NAC games, she averaged 37 minutes on the court, and 19.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Atuahene tallied 70 rebounds (57 defensive), 44 steals, and three blocks while also shooting 74.4% from the charity stripe and dishing out 42 assists.

NVU-Johnson first-year Brian Lee is a 2021-22 Co-Rookie of the Year for Men’s Basketball. Lee appeared in 11 conference games and started in seven. He averaged 20.7 points and 5.4 rebounds while playing 39 minutes per conference game. Lee was steady at the line, sinking 90.6% of his free throw attempts. The guard shot 36.3% from the floor and 36.7% behind the arc. Lee collected 38 rebounds (26 defensive), 13 assists, 12 steals, and a block against NAC opponents.
