Schutt and Brown to finish series

The Spring Author Series has two more to go: novelist Christine Schutt and poet Jericho Brown.

Schutt has three novels and two short story collections to her name.

Her novel “Florida” was a finalist for the National Book Award; her novel “All Souls” was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. Schutt visits Mar. 21 at 6:30 p.m.

Brown won an American Book Award, a Whiting Writers’ Award, and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship for Poetry. He’s written one collection of poetry, “Please,” from which he’ll read when he visits JSC Apr. 16 at 5:30 p.m.

Both authors will be featured in the Stearns Performance Space.
